External Reflection Prism:
Right angle prisms are generally used to bend image paths or redirect light at 90°.
This produces a left handed image and depending on the orientation of the prism, the image may be inverted or reverted.
Right angle prisms can also be used in combination for image/beam displacement.
We offer right-angled reflective prisms with beveled coatings, which we often call steering mirrors. The bevel of each mirror is plated with a metal film, a broadband dielectric film or a laser line film. Available in a variety of sizes, including versions pre-installed in 16 mm cage cubes compatible with Ø1/2" lens tubes, or versions in 30 mm cage cubes compatible with Ø1" lens tubes. The film of our blade right-angle reflector is plated on two right-angled faces with an exact 90° angle between the coated surfaces. These mirrors are designed to combine or separate beams.
